lift opinions

Hello all, I want to lift my '98 F150 super cab 2wd and get some larger tires under it. I've searched thru a ton of info and I think I've decided on Daystar 3in coil spacers and 4 in blocks for the rear.

Can anyone here tell me if this would be OK, and what size tires I could run with 17x8 rims?

Any pics of similar mods would be helpful. Awesome site! Thanks, Greg

to be honest you will regret doing that setup on your truck because your smooth ride will go right to hell i know its cheaper than buying a lift but the hassle of the ride an eventually changing it to something else is not worth your time and effort since it is a 2wd the best thing to do is run a taller spindle in the front this will keep the stock ride an still give you 3.5 in allowing you to run a 33in tire for the back suspension look into shackles and leafs or run the blocks with a really good set of shocks a set of bilstiens or ranchos would do the trick. you might spend alittle on the spindles but trust me its worth it. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
