Hey I work on Travis AFB. Well anyway in Sacramento there is 4 wheel parts wholesalers on Auburn Ave. Then there is Central four wheel drive that is a few miles down further on Business 80 from 4 wheel parts. I think that Tognotties also installs lifts. They are also on Auburn Ave. But, in fairfield is a place called anyone's offroad on N. texas behind the Wendy's. I hear that they are pretty good.
My experience with 4-wheel parts in Sacramento.

Just had an RCD 5" kit installed on my '01 Screw by the boys at Les Schwab (Rocklin, by Hwy65). Ask for Kevin or Landon. They set me up right and have been very attentive. Kevin has the same truck so was very knowledgeable.
Trucksmart, also in Rocklin, wanted about a grand more, and an extra day, to install the same kit. Central 4 Wheel was better on price by a couple hundred, but I didn't like the guys I spoke with. They really spoke down to me which pizzed me off. I'm a beginner, ok, but you don't have to RUB IT IN! Both of those places farmed out the wheels & tires install. Who would you go to if you had an issue & weren't sure what the issue was?
I realize I'll probably get flamed for recommending Les Schwab, but my experience was great, and I believe it comes down to who the person/people are in each individual shop. They did me right on price, and even set me up with a spare rim & tire (premium!) for dirt cheap since the old spare doesn't work after the kit is installed. Photo of the finished job is in their book or in my just-started gallery.

Hey, no knocks to LS from me. I have a two wheel drive here in Citrus Heights, near 80 and Greenback and the shop at 80 and Madison has given me nothing but top-notch service consistently. On Saturday the removed a nail, plugged the hole, rebalanced and mounted a tire on my truck for free, and I've didn't even get my tires from them. Since LS is big on service, I'd not turn my back to them at all.
As for places in Sac, there is Central 4WD near business 80 and Watt ave, not sure if they have installation for what they sell. As noted before, Trucksmart in Rocklin. Tognotti's, but I have no idea what kind of work they do, or the time schedule to get it done. Four-Wheel parts near ElCamino and 80, who seem to always have some nice looking rides in their lot and have been in business in that location for a LONG time.
