Talking A new look at an old question

I have a 1993 F-150 XL 4.9 2WD truck. I just replaced the radius arm bushings, new front springs and shocks and how I want to remove the " drag truck" look of the rear sitting higher than the front. How can I safely raise the front of the truck without spending copious amounts of hard earned money? I also want the truck to handle well pulling a car trailer at highway speeds.

Thanks,

Well I would go with front leveling coils myself but since you said you just bought new ones you may not want to do that. Other than that I'm not really sure how you could go about it cheaply.

My 2 cents worth

If you're gonna stroke it, POWERSTROKE IT!!!

Are air-shocks an option?

Justin - You may want to check out JC Whitney. Not sure if they have them for your model year, but they sell some Daystar front levelling/lifting kits. This link should take you to the product page.

I have also heard of these in a rubber material that cost about $15 a set, but the poly ones should hold up a little better over time. Someone else did a post on these a while back - I think his name was Trion or Tiron. Do a search for posts under that user name and see what you come up with. Hope this helps.

I'd say put 1.5" coil spacers in. Thats the cheapest way to go...

I have seen several posts related to these spacers, but have never seen them. Who sells these and what is an average price? The truck thing is new for me, Alky injected Funny Cars, that is my world.... Thanks again for the reply!
