Question Drop Leafs VS Drop Shackles

Does anyone know if either one has an advantage over the other? Pinion angle, strength, stability.

Thumbs up

evo,

I have both shackles (brackets also) and 3" springs (total of 7") and have zero problems with ride or mechanics (although my shock angle bites and I'll have to modify my upper shock mount soon)

My springs are nearly flat when you look under the truck but the ride is as good as stock.

Hope that sheds a little light on your question. (pics below are @ 4/5 drop)

big.mike: Thanks for the reply. Did you have to correct your pinion angle?
