Rear shackles on my truck? Do I have to have any specail tools or anything. Also does it matter which shackle I pick? I am gonna lower the back of the truck approx 2". The front is coming later.

 

took me about 35 min a ratchet wrench a jack and some stands. piece of cake !

 

One of the easiest things you can do. But you do need more than one jackstand and/or jack...also be sure to "think" your way through it along with following whatever instructions you get.

There will be tension on the spring that wants to push it up, or pull it down and this can be frustrating for a minute or two until you figure out which way to go to lessen that tension. Once you get the hang of it, this job can take mere minutes to complete.
