modest lowering
Im looking to drop my F-150 only about 1 to 1.5 inches in the front. and about 2-3inch in the back. My question concerns the front, I havent seen any kits or springs that will only lower the front 1 to 1.5 inches. Can this be done with only shocks? Can the springs be cut to lower the vehicle or is it better to get the lowering springs? Are they thicker or do they have more coils?
Well if you have money to spend the Hotchkis kit will lower your truck 2in front and 3in back and will really increase your handling! Or if your on a budget, I'm pretty sure Eibach makes a 1 or 1.5 in coil. Cutting your coils isn't a good idea since it will give you a crappy ride and will most likely give you uneven drop on both sides.

99flareside is correct Eibach makes a spring kit for F150 and Expy's. You can either get 1" or 1.5" springs. Front only.
The back you will need to do shackles or something similar. I am assuming you have leaf springs and not the airbags like Expy's have.
