Question Lowering ?

Want to give my '98 Regular cab a more sporty stance, I want to lower the truck but want the front to be about 2 inches lower than the back any kits out there for this or can I get a rear lowering kit for say 2" and a front for 4"? Dont know if that makes sense!

Makes perfect sense. Belltech makes a kit, Groundforce makes a kit and there are a couple others. Lots of lowering product companies carry 2"/4" drop kits, belltech also makes a 3"/4" drop kit if you like.

Just my $0.02 cents

The stock stance is already 2" lower in the front. A typical drop of 2/4 will level your truck. If you want to keep the 2" rake but just want it lower, then you can do a 2/2 drop using springs in the front and shackles in the rear. If you want just a little more rear drop (a 2" rear shackle may not net you the desired 2") the you can use a JLP 2-4" adjustable shackle to give you the stance you want.

DITTO to suds.

I'd say stay away from anything lower then 2-3" in the rear, unless you really go low in the front to keep the stance slanted forward a bit.

Plus, installing hangers is a pain!!! Don't do it (unless you must).

HA!
