Question spindle choice???

Ok guys, the tax check finally came in so now it is time for the new spindles. Should I spend the few extra dollars on the Fabtech or should I go with Procomp? Do you really get what you pay for? The 3" lift from Fabtech looks good cause I can keep the stock wheels since there is no offset problem. I don't really off road much, just need bigger tires for the boat ramps. Some of these ramps are mud and sand. I have read a lot about this in the past, but I heard that Fabtech just recently had a problem with bearing slipping on the shaft. Any advice would be appreciated. I plan on ordering this week. Bluefish

hey blue what wheels do you have? i was wondering because the shops around here have said i would probley need new ones, and being a full-time student and a part-time worker means there is not alot of truck money left after bills. so if you could tell me what wheels you have i would appreaceate it.

hey crazed, I have the stock 6 spoke wheel. It is the one that has 3 double spokes with a center cap covering the nuts. Bluefish looks sorta like the blue supercab with the gray stripe at the top of the page. I was told that with Fabtech, the 3" spindle lift could use the stock wheels but the 3.5" lift with the coil springs needs new wheels with the proper backspacing. Hope this helps. Bluefish
