Post lift from shocks?

I installed my Edelbrocks about a month ago and I never thought much about it but my truck is lifted maybe an inch because of the shocks.. Has this happenned to anyone before? I thought shocks were not supposed to lift the truck?

the ride is a little on the firm side too

any thoughts?

On my '93 Ranger, when i set my RS9000's to 5(all the way stiff) it sat about 1/2" higher, probably because it didn't let the truck sag. Just my 2 cents...

I thought I was just imagining it too. Maybe we still are. I've had a couple people tell me it looks higher. After about a month of driving on them mine started riding even nicer.
