Question Does anyone have any experience w/ traction bars?

I have a 2000 F-150 F/S, 5.4, 3:55 L/S. I need to know what is the best traction bar for my truck. I'm having a S/C installed and feel that I'm going to lose a lot of traction. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a traction system called Cal Tracs, very similar to the old traction masters for the leaf spring Mustangs. There's a board member called Flats Man who has these installed on his S/C short bed. He said they helped alot,as he was fishtailing every time the trans would shift Must be nice to have problems like that,hehe,,,,,98

I had the pleasure of driving his truck before he had them installed, and it was a pretty hairy ride .
here is the website. www.calvertracing.com

Cool

I saw a person with a charged F-150 running Lakewood #21910 bars. They clamped over the springs, not under the factory U bolts. Their website shows a picture but has little description.

98 Screamer- Thanks for the info. I went to their website and checked them out. They look like the answer. I have to call them and make sure that they will fit with a 4" rear shackle drop. I also like your speedglows. It's too bad someone doesn't make that I know of a speedo conversion that reads 140 mph.
