Question Needle attachment for grease gun

Could anyone tell me where to find the needle attachment for a grease gun? I want/need it but not sure where to get it. Any help anyone can provide is appreciated.

Thanks.

Bierk,

I got mine at Autozone (about $3). If you get one, be careful not to stick yourself with it. Grease injected into tissue can result in gangrene.

Don't try this at home, unless...

...you have a highly qualified and highly attractive nurse operating that needle.

Autozone here too!

BTW, it didn't work real well for me. The boots don't hold the grease that great, and I had a hard time with silicone sealing the needle hole. At least I got some fresh grease ON the joints.

Yeah, does anyone have some hints about how best to get the grease to stay in and not leak out the hole before the silicone sets up?

You cant fill it up 'till its swolen like you do with zerk grease fittings. Ya have to settle for a semi-full boot.

Wait untill the grease stops oozing out then wipe the grease off the boot with a rag the best you can. Then spray it with brake parts cleaner and let dry. The silicone will stick to the boot better when it's clean.

Good luck, I hope this helps.
