If your truck is 4x4, the torsion bar adjustment should fix it.

What exactly do you mean? Do you mean your truck is lop sided...because mine is. About 1 inch lower on the driver's side...you can see it when you look at the truck directly from the front or back...

let me know if this is what you see on your truck too, because I can't figure it out!

dgreen,
yep, a little lop sided.. the more I look at it, the more it seems to be from the cab-back. Like the Bed is a little lop sided.. kinda strange but this truck is well outta warranty, just thought I may be able to even it out myself

measure!

First inflate all the tires to the same PSI. this should be common sense, but make sure all tires are the same size!

Then measure the rear height thru the center of the wheels to the bottom of the wheel well. Try to get in the center of it. Write it all down. Then do the same for the fronts. Figure out where you are at.

You can adjust the fronts with the torsion bars.

Other things to check is for broken or crushed body mounts!

My truck was leaning to the left when I bought it. The dealer adjusted the torsion bars and leveled it. The mechanic said the bars have differnt settings for different size tires.

They only thing I've ever heard of is its spring fatigue. They have a TSB for ford rangers with the same problem. Ive never seen one for f150s though. Basically one set of rear springs wears out faster than the other and it sits lop sided

Mine leans to the passenger side. From talking to several people, there F150's do it as well. Many beleive it's a design for the truck to compensate for wieght from the driver and a full gas tank. Anyone else heard of this?

My truck was the same way. The Rightr rear was noticeably lower. I carefully measured each end to the top of the fenderwells, and it was about 3/4" lower. I noticed that spring pack was sitting a bit lower to the overload spring. The right front was about 1/2 inch lower. I got custom add-a-leafs added between the first and second spring in the back. The result, about 1.5 inches lift at the rear fenders. It almost completely leveled out the truck in the back! I then adjusted the torsion bars. The result is now that my truck sits within 3/16" of being even left to right on both front and rear. Close enough for me! The extra leafs really boosted my sagging fanny!
