Question torsion bar adjustment

Does anyone know how to tell if or when the torsion bars are properly adjusted? My truck had a horrible ride quality which I improved by adjusting the torsion bars. So far, I am two turns out from where they were set when I bought the truck last June. Judging from the bumperstops, it only lowered the truck about 1/4". I sit just a matter of what you like or are there factory settings? Thanks for any suggestions y'all might have.

I don't know if this will be of any help. The factory manual gives the adjustment parameters and how they are measured.

98fword,

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way for you to provide the parameters and measurements to me? If e-mail will work, you can send to dbunch5@aol.com. BTW, I checked out your link, NICE TRUCK!
