Question Tire recommendations(38's or 39's) and tire wear

I'm planning on getting 38's or 39's on my truck and was wondering what brand of tire everyone recommends. I don't care so much as how loud they are or how rough they ride, i'm just worried about wear. Thanks for any comments.

Mud tires that wear good? Good luck. Anyway, I've been told that Ground Hawgs and Gumbo Mudders get the best wear. I've had two sets of Super Swampers and have only gotten about 25,000 miles out of the each time. I know that Mickey's are the worst for wear. If you are only going up to a 38", you can still get a radial. Anything above that will be a bias ply thus resulting in not as good tread wear. I'm on my first set of Gumbos and can't quite tell about the wear yet. Anyway, you might want to forget about the wear issue in sizes this large.
