JonC or Davensa?
Hey Guys, I know you have the fabtech ultimate 6.5" lift, so I was wondering if you have any pics of your trucks, with just that lift, no body lift. I need to get some perspective as to how high it is, with the 35's and such. Also, where would you reccommend I buy this lift, for the best price. Expierences? Thanks. Oh yea, as you can see I'm from my sig, I'm into 4x4's, but I'm getting a 4x2 real soon.

No body lift on mine, just the Fabtech 6.5"
I got mine installed at a little place called TNK automotive in Laguna Hills. they bought all the components and did the installation. I actually did it in 2 stages... control arms and springs lift first and added the spindles later so it cost me a little more than it really would have had I just had it done all at once.
Here are a couple other pics.

yes... I trimmed it at an angle from the top to a spot about 1.5" forward from the back edge of the stock unit. I just used piece of electrical tape as my guide and cut along that with a pair of trauma scissors I had lying around, then lightly sanded the edge to smooth it out. Easy!
I think you can see the difference if you compare your stock valance with the last picture on my post.
