Question RAISING FRONT BESIDES TORSION BARS?????

Is there a way to raise the front of a 4x4 besides cranking up the torsion bars? Something that might give a little more height than the torsion bars. I am thinking of putting on an add-a-leaf in the rear and don't want that to make the truck un-even again. Thanks in advance.

Unhappy

Coil spacers are an option, but only on a 4x2, because they have a coil setup, whereas 4x4s have Torsion bar/IFS setup. I don't think there is a way to lift the front end without adding a suspension lift or adjusting torsion bars- sorry!

OK, tried to crank up the torsion bars, but i can't get the damn bolts to budge. i am probably going to break my arm before i get them to move. any ideas on why this is happening? would WD-40 help or will that mess something up? another thing, the driver's side bolt is a 15/16 and the passenger side is a 13/16, is that normal?

Hosracn,

I call a local 4x4 shop in SLC and they will crank the t bars and align for $70. I could do it my self, but I feel this is worth the money. Besides I don't have any jack stands or a good garage jack.

Regards

Sean
