Question Swing Arm?

I recently lifted my truck. I took my truck to get an alignment but was told that my swing arm is bad so he couldn't properly align it. What is a swing arm on a truck? Is it the same as the lower A-arm?

I am going to take a guess for you because I just had an alignment.

Things they told me I needed before the alignment.

Idler arm...more than likely what they are telling you is needed.
This is 40$ at the auto parts store and takes 20 minutes to install if you have an impact wrench. (I have a cheap electric one)

I needed a lower ball joint...pain in the rear end but I did it for 40$.

Upper control arm...I just replaced that because I was in there.

Tie rod....very very simple with a MAPP gas torch.

Ask me any questions about these and I will be glad to post. The trouble I had finding information was very aggrevating, but now that I know how to do it, I am hoping to help someone in my previous predicament.

But again, they probably mean your Idler arm.
