Post quick question

this is probably stupid, but, are the only ways to lift a 4x4 suspension lift, body lift, cranking up torsion bars, or an add-a-leaf?

I suppose really small lowrider tires would make it look like it was lifted.

zeroxman1, then it would look like it was owned by Mexicans.
y2kboti, I want to get a little more lift on it, don't have $3500 for suspension, don't like the look of the body lift, waiting to do torsion bars, and thinking about add-a-leafs, but wanted to know if there was anything else before I mess with it.

Cool

What don't you like about the looks of a body lift?

I bet 4 out of every 5 people that see my truck ask why I don't put a body lift on my truck to make it taller. That tells you how easily it ISN'T spotted.

I'm just not a big fan of how it moves the hitch, exhaust tips, and tow hooks down.

I guess it all comes down to personal preference. The hitch is still fairly hidden. I painted mine, due to some rust. The exhaust tips are pulled back up to the bottom of the bumper. I cut ~3" off the front of the frame and have the tow hooks mounted in the stock position. Working on another way of mounting them so they are raised a little bit. I had a valance w/o tow hook holes, bolt pattern was off 1/2". That would make it look a lot better.
