1997 F-150 4x4 Flareside.
I get a rattle from the front driver side of the truck when I go over a bump. I have checked the shocks, as they were put on by me, everything was tight. I took it in just to make sure it wasn't anything like the ball joints or the like, they say they found a loose sway bar end link. The problem never went away. I am taking it back to them Tuesday. Any ideas on what it could be?

By the way, I think this might be relevent, I can feel the rattle in the floorboard on my side while I am driving.

 

I have the same rattle I have not had it checked out yet but plan to when I get the time. If you find out what it is could you post the solution back on here. It is so annoying to here that rattle going down the road. Well good luck and if i find it i will post back.

We'll do. The thing I heard about the loose shock and or worn out bushing couldn't be my problem as I do feel the rattle in the floor board.????
