Exclamation Superlift Install

Hey guys, ordered my Superlift kit today, I will be installing it next weekend (body lift this weekend). I haven't seen many people with this lift, so I'll let you all know how easy it was to install and if I run into anything "funny". Anyone got any heads up before I go and try to install this kit? Let me know! Thanks. I'll get lots of pics!

I have this lift. It wasnt to bad to install. I had one torsion bar that did not want to come out but i finally got it. Superlift says to pull them out of the lower control arms and mine didnt want to come out so i left them in the control arm and just to them out of the rear mount. you will need a 2 jaw puller to release the torsion bars. I also would like to here from more people with the Superlift kit. Good Luck

Good luck on getting a tire and wheel combo that will fit without having the tire rub the superlift knuckle. I had to run wheel adapters in the front. Anyway, I'm pulling my Superlift out in two weeks and putting in my Whiplash kit. Good luck.

snowball hope the Whiplash kit does not fall apart on you. I have heard nothing but bad stuff about them. Also there is a reason most companies only offer 6in kits.

Okay, just got off the phone with Superlift, They said that the factory wheels will work with the lift, so if I get a new rim, I can't get one with a bigger backspacing. The rims I want to get have a 4.5" backspacing. Does anyone know what the factor 17x7.5 rims backspacing is (the rim in the 4x4 off road)? Thanks.

I was told to use a 3.5" backspaced wheel which I have found a few but not many. mostly in 15" wheels. I havent bought my wheels yet or tires yet. I may go with an 8" rim and 315 tires. I bought my truck wrecked and hope to have it on the road soon I will post pics then.

I already sold my 17"x7.5" OEM rims but before that I measured them with a backspace of 4.5". I got the new ones with almost the same backspace.
