NEED TO GET HIGH.....
I am looking to put about 6 inches of lift on my 2000 f150 2wd. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it! I am looking for a good reliable ride still though, no backyard redneck stuff......I will go 3 and 3 if the need be, but I would rather go 5-6 on the suspension.
whats up eixster,
Glad that you want to lift your ride. Thats the smartest thing you can say. You can go all suspension reachin 6-7in with alot of different lift kits. Fabtech, Chasis Tech, Pro Comp and others have a lift for you truck runnin bout $1200-1400 installed. Rims and tires is a different story. Go for all suspension starting with a spindle, coil, and upper control arm kit for more ground clearance. Fabtech has a new spindle that adds a 1/2in for 7in. Fittin a 35 mudder with very little or no rubbin. And if you still want to go higher shoot for the sky with a 3in body lift.

I`m in the same boat. Just picked up my 2001 5.4 on Sunday and can`t wait to get it lifted. I`m leaning towards the Fabtech 6" kit but I`ll go w/ the RCD if the price is right.
Silver39: What`s up man! I`m in Tustin and was wondering if you knew anybody in the area selling rims/tires or any bolt-ons?
Good Luck Eixster, post some pics when you get high =)

Hey silver,
Me n the boys are amazed with that kick *** truck you have! I dont think I can go that high, but a 4" should supply enough clearance for 35s right? And I do not know what company I will go wwith for right now, but I am looking

Thanx guys,
Blown150,
I have a few connections with some mods or add ons. I cruz around tustin every so often but don't have hook-ups around there. Hope to see your truck in the sky too. Late.
Ct1,
My truck is in the shop right now so I'll catch up with you later on the height. But the tires alone were about $225-250 retail, but I got hooked-up.
eixster,
SORRY GUY, but the 4" will NOT cut it. You can fit a 305 or 33" not unless you want to do some major trimmin. Go with a 6.5" to 7" and you'll be set. Trust me. If you want a true 35" mudder you're goin to have to go higher than 4". But a 4" lift is really clean with some 33". Throw on a 3" body lift with the 4" lift and you'll be rollin. NO problem fittin 35" mudders. It'll look just like Dirtslingers. Good luck. Lates.
