Well I have a 2wd single cab F150 with 16 inch rims and 265/75/r16 tires and i was wanting to put a 4 inch suspension lift, with either 285/75/r16 or 305/70/r16 ties on it to give it a 4x4 look and look more aggressive, ill put a link in the message box, but what i was asking, is that if anyone has done something similar, or could offer any advice for me? I'd appreciate any help, I'm new with trucks and lifts but looking foward to learning about it.

Well several of us have done lifts to our trucks..If you are just starting to lift your truck you can go with a 3 inch body lift( cheapest route ) or spindles 3 inches also ( next cheapest ) both with give you the 4x4 stance, maybe alittle taller....Then you can go with the fabtech or one of the other 4x2 lift dealers....but if you stick with the first two your ride will not be affected hardly at all........BUT BE WARNED............Once you start to lift or lower it is a disease that most of us have caught after altering our suspensions one way or the other.......check out events also...we will have several trucks here in SAN ANTONIO on Mar 2-4 (about 20-30) and you can see first hand......Dave

Well I appreciate your help, but with this "disease" is it a good disease like once you start you dont wanna stop,or a bad one like it messes up your truck in the long run, any advice would help
