Post shocks

Any recomendations on heavy duty shocks? I have a F-150 4x2 V6 5 speed manual SB with a class III hitch. Im getting bigger tires probably 265 or 285s on the stock aluminium 16" rims. One of the stock shocks looks blown in the back the truck leans slightly to one side. Probably overloaded it with gravel a time or two. Also what kind of heavy duty shocks, air, gas, regular?

[I can speak for Rancho, Trailmaster and Edelbrock on this one because I have used them all...The Edelbrock's by far provide a superior ride but of course you will pay for it. The other two, depending on which type you use of each, are just slightly better than stock in my opinion. I have heard that the Monroe Sensa-tracs are very good as well. I haven't tried or even know if they make an air shock for the new F-150's but of course if they do that will take care of any additional load carrying capacities questions you may have. It's interesting that you mention your truck lists to one side slightly...that wouldn't by chance be to the left side being lower than the right as you look at it from the rear??
