Exclamation coil spacers.....!

Ok i know coil spacers kinda dissipate your ride, therefore is there anyone that makes like a one inch coil spacer? I remember i had a lifted explorer with three spacers that were .25 inches each spacer i only used three and it did the trick....arent there smaller ones so my ride doesnt worsen? Over the three.5 inch new fab spindles im gonna need al ittle more in the front to clear 33's on my 2wd. I need coil spacer info..who makes them where to get them...

thanks

Hey Kial. Just to let you know. I have the fabtech spindle lift on my 2wd. I have PROCOMP 33/12.5/17 tires on my truck and I have no rubbing. Spacer's suck. They make your truck ride like a 1800's western stage coach. They will also make you front tires wear uneven because they lean out. You will be fine with just the lift. I have a sport 2wd. They come with the 17 inch wheels. you probably have the 16 inch tires which will even be smaller. So if I can fit 33's on 17's without rubbing you should not have any problems.Hope this helped ya some.

I think Daystar makes a 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 inch spacers. I myself was looking into the 1.5 inch spacers to get me level. The wear on the tires only happens if you dont align the truck...something you have to do even when you do the spindle lift. The spacers run about 80 bucks. Install I got quoted about 120 from 4wheelparts and the alignment was 100 bucks. So its about 300 dollars....the spindles are impossible to get out under 800 if you have a shop install them. If you are mechanically inclined and have a spring compressor handy you could install the spacers yourself and save a bit. Their are two types of spacers out...rubber and polyeurethane. The rubber is sold at pepboys about an inch high for 7bucks each...the polyeurethance is the daystar one and is suppose to be better quality and stands up to the whether. 33 inch tires on 16 and 33 inch tires on 17's are about the same. If i am not mistaken the 17 inch rim 33's are 32.4 inches high while the 33's (285/75/16 or 295/75/16) are 32.8, 33.4 inches tall. You can order the daystar ones from a number of online stores or 4wheelparts wholesalers while teh peopboys ones are at pepboys.

I was just at a local Autozone and happened to see that they had rubber coil spring spacers in sizes up to 2.5". They also sell universal u-bolts and spacer blocks for leaf spring suspension lifts. They had blocks up to 3"
