Post Best way to make 2wd look like 4wd?

What is the best way to make a 2 wheel drive truck (2001 Super Crew) look like a 4 wheel drive truck? I want about the same lift as a factory 4wd. Is there a web site that explains the pros and cons of body lifts, spindle lifts, suspension lifts, etc? Who makes the best parts or kit to do the job?

I would say that you should go with a 3inch body lift and some coil-spacers up front. thats what i did.

Depending on how you want to have your truck sit....Level or stock ( higher in the back). I would go with new spindles, the ride stays the same, same shocks and it is much easier to level the truck out......With a body lift you will get the high back end, unless you get a leveling kit or coil spacers..but I would go with the spindles....Dave

Well the cheapest way would be to get some stickers that say 4X4 and put them on the back corners of your truck!
