I am thinking of installing a 7 1/2' snowplow for personal use only on my 97 F150 supercab short box. Seems everywhere I turn I'm told that the front axle will not take it. The plows I'm looking at are in the 500 to 600lbs range. If any of you guys has done this please provide all information/experience good or bad especially what it has done to your ride height i.e. front end sag.
Any replies are greatly appreciated.
