Simultaneous Drop & Lift?

Since I didn't get any responses to my post Performance Coil Springs w/o Lowering? I'll guess such springs don't exist. So let me try another approach.

What do you guys think of putting a 2" drop on my suspension to get the performance I desire, while also adding a 2" body lift to maintain the stock height? Would I end up getting the performance increase, or will the body lift negate the advantages of the suspension drop?

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

I think that you would be hard presses to find a coil for stock height and better performance. You might go this route though. Get the drop coils but run a coil spacer above it. I think that a body lift would just look funny and cost a lot more.

That sounds like a great idea. I hadn't seen these things before since I hadn't looked in the "suspension lift" area. Truck Performance.com even has a perfect match with Eibach 1.5" drop coil springs and DayStar 1.5" coil spacers.

Thanks
Jeff
