I agree! Be prepared to trim down your front valance a bit though (possibly!) The spindle will widen your front track about 2 to 3".

Cool

Whats the diff between a 3 in spindle lift and a 3 suspension lift? What is the diff in price?? Also, coil spacers. Where can I get them, about how much do they cost, and what the diff between them and the 2"front coils that are $250?

Mav07-
I'll give you the run down on what I know.

1. Replacing the spindles really isn't a suspension lift since you don't alter any of the suspension components or angles. It just lowers the point at which the wheel connects.

2. A suspension lift would involve the 3.5" a-arm lift or the leveling kit b/c you are replacing the suspension components and angles(top arm and coil springs).

3. I guess the coil spacer(placed between the bottom of the coil spring and the bottom a-arm) will also alter the suspension play b/c you are increasing the angle at the upper ball joint where the upper a-arm connects to the spindle.

I can't say much about the prices. I like my spindles b/c the ride is nice. I have 4 Rancho RSX shocks which really makes it nice(3/1 deal at ORW).

That's the best I can do, I'm sure someone else will add some comments.

Question

Now this may be complete BS, but I've been told it's possible to fit 285/75x16 (32.9x11.5) under the 2wd and not have them rub unless at full articulation and turning. Can anyone validate this or tell me I'm smoking some good crack? Thanks.

Yeah, I've heard the same thing and I think I have even seen it but I wouldn't do it. Bad idea...

imagill.

The spacers that Pepboys sell are JUNK. All they sell you is rubber. The 70-80 dollar spacers are made of polyurathane and resist the weather and heat from your engine better plus in a year or so they'll loose their resistance.
