JMTRUCK!!
Hi! I saw a picture of your truck and the lift. It looks soo awesome. I have wanted a lift since i got my truck but I know little about them! I'm not sure if my truck can handle it! It's a 1999, looks like yours but its a sport 4x2, V6? What the best kind of lift. Anyone know what I should look for to ensure the quality and to make my truck ride smoother with one?
Thanks!!! =)
Thanks!!! =)

Thank you for the compliments. Mine is a 98 and 4x4. I did a 3" body lift and the new tires are on its way home. It was supposed to be installed with a suspension liftbut that will have to wait for now.
With the body lift you mantain the stock ride since you don't change the spring rates. New shocks are recommended with larger tires. This lift is a Performance Accesories 3" Body lift and it cost is around $130.00 aprox. Well recommended by many here in the boards.
You have to set a specific goal and work toward that, like how much lift you want?
Since yours is a 2x4 the suspension lift is quite different from a 4x4 but there are some members in the boards with that kind of lift already installed. They will be able to help. The body lift is almost the same.
If my budget for next year is healthy I will order a Rancho Suspension lift. If not, I will order a Trailmaster, less expensive and I trust them.
I have to go out right now but just let me know if there are some specific questions and I will get back to the boards in a couple of hours.

No problem J, I like to help. No electrical problems so far, neither when installing the the lift.
As for the fuel lines the kit comes with hoses to susbstitute the existing ones. I cut them to fit and everything is Okee Dokee.
If there is any other area of concern, just let me know.
