Post Wierd noise

I have a problem and I have no clue as to what it is. Everytime I brake, I hear a somewhat smooth grinding noise. It's not rough and the truck still comes to a stop pretty smoothly, but it sounds as if something is maybe rubbing. I know it's not the front disc brakes and it can't possibly be tires rubbing. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Do you hear it while you take off for a little while too??? If so It might be a problem I had on my Acura. Man this problem bugged me for 2 weeks, finally I had a buddy stand in a parking lot while I drove a slow circle around him. He quickly discovered what the problem was and started laughing. It seems the practical joke guy at my last job got me. He put a bunch of small rocks in the center cap of my front drivers side wheel. and you would only hear it on take off or coming to a stop or a slow speeds. ( At high speed the cintreifical (sp?) force kept the rocks pinned out and didn't make any noise. ) Its just a thought and If not then I have NO clue.

There is a long list but, did you checked if one of the front brakes pads wear sensors are not touching the rotors?
