Anyone Have Problems with Bilstein Shocks?

About 3 months ago I purchase a set of Bilstein OEM replace shocks for my 2000 Supercab 4x4. When I got them, one of the front shocks made loud popping sound right from the start, I send it back and got a new one under warranty. Now one of the back shocks blew a seal and all the fluid leaked out.
I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with Bilstein shocks I ready like the ride but I am concerned about how long they will last?

I put a set of standard length Bilsteins on my 2wd '01 Scab with 2" rear drop. Got 10K miles on them with no problems. I even loaded 2,000# of sand and rock in the bed once for a short trip when doing landscaping.

Got about 16K miles on the set on my SCrew, no problems what so ever.

Sounds like you may have a DOA shock. Put the stock one back on, and return it for a replacement if it is the shock making the noise.

My friends and I have never had problems with Bilstein's. One of my best friends is the North American Marketing Coordinator. Says, there shouldn't be any problem at all exchaning for a replacement.

Never even heard of a problem with one (they have blown before, but the incident usually is precipitated by an easily explainable circumstance (an impact that puts your head into the roof for instance...).
