Front Lift? how many times has this been asked?

I do not like how the back is so much higher than the front...
Any good advice on how to lift the front end 1.5" to 2" (is that how much it takes?) to make the truck level.

I really think that is about all the lift I would need but I did see where someone on the boards is "de-lifting" his truck and if wants to sell the lift I would be interested

Seriously, has anyone lifted the front only? Any recommendations? manufacturers and cost ideas? Is this a weekend project?

Thanks for your help..

This question gets asked probably 5 times a week or better. There is no lift for just the front, but on 4x4s you can raise the torsion bars up some and might or might not get as much lift as you want. It depends on the truck. You'll get a stiffer ride and even less suspension travel from the IFS than it already has. If you're going to raise the torsion bars that much when you're done you'll need an alignment. Just do a search on here for adjusting torsion bars and you'll find all the info you want on how to do it (I just don't feel like typing it when its posted here about 10,000 times)

If you want to lift just the front to make it level, get some new coil springs or coil spacers and that will do the trick. Anything over 1.5" and you'll need new upper control arms though.
