Post Cranking bars unevenly?

Last night I went under my truck to raise it about 1/2 in the front. When I started doing my measurements, I found that my drivers side was about 3/4 lower than the passenger side. So I turned the drivers side botlt 1 turn in, and then the passenger side bolt 1/2 turn out. Will this affect my alignment at all? The truck doesn't seem to pull one way or the other when going down the highway. Other than pulling to the right when your in the slow lane, (right titlt in lane) or it pulls to the left when your in the fast lane (tilted to the left). Somebody let me know if I should turn then only in even incriments or if what I did in such small adjustments shouldn't screw anything up.

I think it should be okay, depending on what you started with. It won't necessarily pull to the side if the alignment is off. Cranking the bars affects the toe in, which means that your wheels/tires will be at a different angle. If it's really bad, you'll notice that the top of the tires will be sticking out, away from a vertical position. This will wear the tires unevenly and strain the other components. Hope that's not too confusing, I haven't had enough coffee yet

Yes it will effect Toe-in. This is the differences of the horizontal distances of the ceterlines of the wheels.

Flatlander got the correct term of Toein, but mixed up the definition with camber. It should be Toe-in. ie- the tires when viewed towards the front look like they are pinched in or out from straight ahead.

It will not effect Camber. The angle that the wheel differs from vertical when viewed from the front.

If it does effect camber, then you may have some worn balljoints in the arms.

I eyed the tires before and after I did this to see if they would be sticking out on the top. They look the same to me but I can't be as exact as a machine. I only raised the front by 3/8 of an inch so it wasn't that dramattic. The CJ joints and angles underneath don't look like they changed at all. We'll see how it goes.
