Suspension

I have a 2003 Crewcab. I have installed 2" drop shackles on the rear. I still find the suspension is too stiff. I do not need any load capacity. Any sugesstions on how to change leaf springs or ???? to soften the ride.

The first thing I'd recommend looking at is changing shocks - especially if you have the Fx4 package. It's not only the easiest modification, but the least expensive. It's also least likely to negatively affect your suspension. By the way, the installation of drop shackles doesn't do much of anything to change anything other than ride height if I'm correct. Good luck!

When you installed the shackles, did you tighten the bolts while the truck was still on the jackstands, or did you drop the trck back down and drive it or bounce it before tightening. If you tightened them up before you let it off the jack stands, the springs may be "pre-loaded" causing a harsher ride. If you installed them properly it could be a shock issue, but remember, you bought a truck, so some stiff is expected. I think mine rides pretty darn good.
