rear block lift
I am looking to replace the factory 2" blocks with 3" blocks on my 97" ORP. Does anyone make blocks that retain built in bump stops like the factory blocks? I have raised the front end 1" with the torsion bars and want to raise the rear 1" also.
WELL, I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT BUNMP STOPS, BUT I KNOW YOU CAN BUY 1" TO 4" BLOCKS FROM A COMPANY NAMED "AIM". THE BLOCKS ARE MADE BY CHASSIS TECH. THERE NUMBER IS 1-800-289-9980. THEY RANGE FROM $14 FOR THE 1" TO $26 FOR THE 4" BLOCK. JUST FYI, BUT WHEN I ADJUSTED MY TORSION BARS I ADDED AN ADD-A-LEAF FROM ROUGH COUNTRY. IT IS JUST AS EASY/HARD TO INSTALL AS NEW BLOCKS AND IS FUNCTIONAL OVER A BLOCK. FOR MY PERSONAL OPINION, I THINK THE ADD A LEAF WOULD BE A BETTER INVESTMENT. I GOT MY "KIT" WITH LEAVES,NEW CENTER BOLTS BUT DID NOT HAVE NEW U-BOLTS. I GOT 4 OF THOSE FOR $9 AT A BOLT AND SCREW PLACE. IT RAN ME $49 OUT OF JC WHITNEY FOR THE KIT.
