Before and after 3" body lift
This is the site I started to post all the photos of my truck. Right now there is not much but some of you ask for the before and after 3" body lift shots.

Thanks for posting the 360* pics. I was always wondering what the rear hitch looks like after the lift. I plan on doing mine next spring.
But overall, any complications you encountered?

Overall, it is very time consuming. As soon as you get yours, check all the nuts and bolts and be sure that you have all those metric sizes in your toolbox. A torx 47 is needed and I forgot the size of the allen needed for the steering column adapter. Be sure to have that one as well.
Having a lot of space to do the job helps a lot. Aligning the bumpers back to their original distance between the cab and bed was hard and time consuming. Maybe you will have to play there with some washers or shims to get them straight. Since I was doing the installation alone, it was very difficult to move up the bumpers and get the studs through the brackets holes at the same time and then aligning.
Try to get new drill bits. And be sure the 1" holesaw you use for the rear bumper is for metal and a good one.
Break the fan shroud tabs in place if you want to save time. If you have a big jaw plier you can break them in place without damaging the shroud. I think it is similar to the F250, but I am not completly sure.
Drilling the holes to relocate the cab safety cables was hard because of lack of space. If you can get short drill bits that will help. Maybe this are some details that may be different in your F250.
You know what?, there is a member of F150 online that post photos of a step by step installation of a 3" body lift in a 250. That may help you. I will try to send you the address. If your e-mail address is not available in the boards send it to me to send you all the info.

JMTruck,
Thanks for the input. My LD is the same as the regular F150's. I've read some other posts from others who've done the lift. I guess everyone encounters some different problems here and there. So I'm just getting some input on what or any B.S. I'll encounter later on. I must say, I'm impressed you did it on your own. If I have any more questions; I'll definitely give you a shout.

After all that effort I am very happy of the results. Looks great and it is just the first step of a long project.
I did it on a weekend since the truck is our daily driver. Keep in touch if you need any other input.
