Post Body Lift

Hey I was in Florida recently and met a guy with a truck like mine but he had a 3inch body lift. He had his bumper right under the tailgate, there was no gap. How did he do this? How much does it cost?

He has a performance products body lift. They come with the bracket to raise the bumper. Total cost for the body lift = $130.00

I wonder what they did in front. The stock bumper mount is already above the front frame rail. Extending that even higher sounds like it would make the front bumper into a real joke. Slightest tap, that bracket would fold back over the top with that kind of offset as a lever.

The Performance Accesories 3" body lift comes with the front bumper relocation brackets. They are a very thick plates and have to be installed behind the stock frame mounts.

Maybe you need some washers or kind of a spacer to keep it straight and level. It is not easy to get back to the original bumper to cab measures, but can be done. I did, and I will be posting photos next week

I,ve personally installed two Performance Products 3 inch body lifts on a 97 and 99 F150. As long as you get the 3 inch kit, you will get the relocation brackets for both front and rear bumpers. As far as 97+ F150's, the same kit covers both 4X4 and 4X2.
