Question Height difference- 4X2 VS 4X4

I am considering getting between a 3" and 6" lift for my truck, but since I have a longbed, I dont have any pictures to compare it to, because all the pics and examples are of extended cab/shortbeds. Anyways, I saw a 4X4 longbed yesterday, and that is about the height I want. So here's my question: how much of a lift is there on a 4X4 when compared to a 4X2? I know there is a difference in tire size, but I just want to know about suspension. This way I could know how much of a lift to order. Also, if anyone DOES have a pic of a lifted longbed I would love to see it!

Thanks!
Chris
