Question Questions For MudSlinger

I saw the pics of your truck and I was wondering how much the Rancho RS9000 shocks were? How much was the 3" body lift, and where did you get it? What does your mileage look like after the lift and new tires? Did it decrease? Did you have to have your truck re-aligned, and how much was it? What are the liftlips that you mentioned? Is it necessary to get new gears? I have 3.55 gears I think. Will they work for that lift? I know this is a lot of questions, but I greatly appreciate your help.

Hiya!

At first i thought there was someone with a similar name to mine, but after reading the post I realized i was the one with the similar name Ok, lets take it one at a time here..

The shocks cost me around $180 for 4.

The bodylift is a Performance Accessories and it was $130.

I dont have an accurate mileage number yet because the speedo/odo is off now (soon to be fixed)..but i'd say i lost alittle, yes.

Realignment is needed anytime a new suspension system is installed and it cost me about $50.

Liftlips are fender extensions that cover the gap between the body and frame, created by the 3" bodylift. They just clean up the look in the fenderwells and run $50.

Getting new gears is pretty much mandatory when going to a 35" tall tire. That bigof a change in tire height would put you engine rpm's well out of the 'range' that it was designed to operate in..which mean SLOW acceleration and an overworked engine. (I also had 3.55's and went with new 4.56's to compensate for the tires)

If i can help ya with anything else, let me know!

Jason

Question

those lift lips are only $50, does that include the rear and front fenders? I am thinking that I really need to do something because it looks pretty bad under the bed.

Question

They are $50 for all 4 wheelwells. I dont think they are all that great a deal myself, tho. All they are is 4 precut pieces of rubber and some plastic rivets. But they do a nice job of cleaning up the look of the wells.

Offroad guy~

I hope you got all the info. Letme know,ok

Talking

Could you list everything you put on your truck to get it like it is in the pictures and the prices? I'm really interested in possibly adding some of this to my truck. Thanks a lot for the help.

oh, and sorry about for butchering the name. (Dirtslinger not Mudslinger)
