Post Can you mix and match lift kits?(2wd)

I have read alot about different lift kits for 2wd f150s and was woundering something. If was to buy the 4inch rancho kit(includes 1inch spindles, 1inch coils, 2inch a-arm relocater)could i later add in fabtechs upper and lower a-arms, their 3inch coils, and their 3inch spindles. all of that plus a 3inch body lift would be 12.5 inches of lift. Could I fit 38s with that lift?

I doubt that you'll get 12.5 inches of lift...because the 3inch spindles will replace rancho's 1 in, their 2.5 inch coils would just replace ranchos, and their A arm kit would probably wipe out ranchos a arm relocater...so you just have fabtecs 6.5 inch lift kit. They have a long travel 7.5in long travel kit...its huge.

I might be mistaken, but I believe that all lift spindles made for the 2wd F150 by any manufacturer is a three inch lift. Rancho gets the 4 inch lift with 3 inch spindles and coil springs combined with dropping the lower control arms for 1 more inch. As far as I know the tallest lift available for 2wd's is the 7 1/2 lift by fabtech. I last priced it at about 3300.00 with dual shocks. Fabtech says that with a body lift, you can safely run 37 inch tires. I'm sure that's conservative. Also, Fabtech now has front fiberglass fenders with a 3 inch bulge. I haven't verified whether that will get you more room for tire size or just travel.
