Cool

The Lightning suspension is pretty good just like it comes from the factory. However, If I wanted to lower an F-150 with standard suspension parts, I would seriously consider the Roush suspension package. It looks nice and boy does it make the truck handle.

This is a picture of my Lightning with the Roush suspension. Not cheap, but very nice handling characteristics.

Sixpipes-

If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost of the Roush suspension? My local dealer mentioned it to me, however he didn't talk price.

Nice truck!

Cool

$1500 plus installation (~$250). This includes leaf springs and Bilstein shocks. Installation cost includes front end re-alignment Like I said, not cheap, but I'd do it again in a minute. Thanks for the compliment.

1500 plus install is WAY WAY WAY too much. If u just want to go down a little just get some shackles for the rear and lowering springs infront.. stock shocks should be ok for only 2 inches drop.. Just pay a visit to any truck shop, it shouldn't be more than a couple hundred installed.

Cool

Ligntning aren't really dropped, only about an inch difference from a stock F-150. The Roush kit is pricey but an awesome kit. The only kit that Roush has though is a 3/3.5 kit. I lowered 5" in the rear with shackles and hangers. The Roush rear leaf springs are also much easier to install. www.pegasuscustom.com had the kit for around 1100 bucks I think.
