Which Shocks?
Well heres my opinion, I went with the IAS shocks. I haven't past the initial 25 mile breakin the instructions say, so they may improve more. So far the truck breaks a little better, less body roll, and has better control on bumpy roads. Hopefully a couple more miles will improve some more.
As for installation, I took my time, the fronts day 1, the rears day 2. The fronts were not hard, I found it easier to jack up the truck and take off the tires. Now the rears, a pain in the @#* to get off. Took me 40 minutes a shock to remove, and 3 minutes to put the new one on. And I have to say I didn't find it hard at all to compress the rear shocks up to get in place.

soon: chip, spark plugs, plug wires, and an electric fan, eventuall new rims, and maybe a jacobs unit.

The shocks will be in tomorrow and I will be able to go pick them up. Thanks so much for all your help. Are there any more suggestions for the install, especially for those who have installed the Rancho remote for the 9000's?
I installed my dual guages and the buttons in the dash on the right side of the steering colum. Looks good and is easily accsessible. All the hoses that have to be routed around the frame and into the hood area for the pump and then into the cab is really a BIG pain! Everything works great and holds the pressure in the lines with no problems.
Good luck, it's worth it. I can get you a pic if you need it.
