I have a '00, 2 wheel drive F150. I just ordered my Fabtech 6.5" kit today and will be installing it in a couple of weeks. I was under the impression that there wasn't any welding involved, however on the Fabtech website's tech section it says that it is necessarry. It indicates that a piece of tubing must be welded to the factory stop and lower control arm. Can anyone tell me more about this so that I'll be ready to go when I get my kit. Thanks.
