Body Lean
It appears my 98 XLT Ext Cab 4x4 has developed a lean on the drivers side. A measurement on even concrete shows a droop of about an inch that is readily apparent from behind (lower on drivers side) A level on the bumper or a measurement from the ground to the top center of the wheel opening shows its higher on the passenger side.
Should I get an alignment and mention this sag or just crank up the drivers side torsion bar?? Thanx for all the useful info.
PS I also solved the belt pully noise with a new Gatorback belt. The noise has never returned.
Thanx
Greg

My 98 has the same problem. It was 1.5 inches low in back, and .5 inches low in front. I had the front torsion bar adjusted, and this raised the front to even, but the back still is 3/4 inch lower on the drivers side. And it isn't the gas either, as I ran that down to fumes and measyred, and got the same results.
I posted a message on this a while back, and at least 3 other guys have the same problem. Maybe one of us should call Ford customer service.
I think it may almost has to be something in the springs, maybe it "settles" in or something over time from the weight of the gas and the driver always on the drivers side.
If you find anything out, let me know!!!!
