Suspension lift question (,,again)
Is there any suspension lift kits on the market today that will lift a 99 F-150sc 4x4 high enough to fit 35/16.5 BFG-AT's without any cutting of the frame or alterations that cannot be changed back?
I don't mind the "very involved" lift kits as long as they can be put back to factory spec. I am also looking for as close to stock ride as possible.
I lease & want to take the kit/tires on to the next truck.
Any suggestions, thanks,,,4rdfan

4rdfan, 35"s will fit with a 4 inch lift.Any of the big name companies(Superlift,Rancho,Trailmaster,Pro-Comp) make 4 inch lifts that can be put back to stock. It would be alot of work but could be done. I have a Trailmaster and there was no cuting or welding and because everything is dropped 4", there really is no difference in ride, If you use add a leafs in the rear, which some of the kits come with along with the shocks , it will ride a little rougher . I used blocks instead and some good aftermarket shocks, and mine rides as good or better than stock. Little top heavy around tight turns but not bad.
Might want to consider a body lift but you will probably get a little rubbing but is not as $$$ as a susp. lift and easier to return to stock. Just remember that with the bigger tires you will lose alot of power and throws gearing out of wack, so a gear change helps return power curve back to stock.
Good Luck
