AWESOME!!!!!!! That is one fine looking 2WD! You are coming to Texas in April? (thats if you can afford the trip now, LOL)
We'll have to get some pictures of our trucks together. Yours sky high and mine making sparks. I'm doning a 'c' notch/flip kit this weekend. Maybe after a few years of hugging the ground I'll reverse the stance and come up in the clouds with you guys!!! LMAO!!!

CCLA, you are my idol. Your truck is exactly what i want mine to look like when I lift it. Just beautiful. I Want to go all suspension lift if I can though. I have some guys at Camburg Engineering that i'd like to do it. But i'm broke so it will be a long while. Again, beautiful truck.

Thumbs up

ccla, THANKS. The radius measurement isn't necessary to me since the tread width was nuts on. I imagine BFG's diameter will be right on or very close. The way I've measured the unloaded radius is to use a straight edge of some sort &/or a calibrated eyeball, then measure from the center of the hub/center cap to the top of the tire.

Question

ccla, I was hoping for actual, real world numbers for the tread width & (UN)loaded radius, because tire mfr's stated spec's don't always match up with their tires. For example, goodyear seems to always understate their tread width. I've never had a set of BFG's so I don't know how accurate they are.

Well I measured the tread today with a ruler. 10" on the dot. I have no clue as to how to measure the UNloaded static radius.

Question

ccla,

I am interested in a spindle lift only for the front, don't want to throw everything off, alignment, etc. With the Bullseye spindles do you know if they are a exact replacement or is other work required? I was just looking at Explorer Pro-Comp's site and they just (well recently) started producing and selling a 3" spindle lift that is an OEM replacement so everything else could stay the same. Ok, ok, I might try the spacers too. I'm not going off road or at least jumping dunes and such, just want to change the look a little.

Thanks for the info, great looking truck. And forget the LSU and Gator suckcessories, a USC license plate is in the mail. That's the USC in LA by the way.

The Bullseye Spindles are now a direct replacement. You no longer have to mess with the Ball Joints

Hey CCLA, question for you, in those pictures of your truck with just the spindles, what size wheels/tires did you have on it? Just curious, because I may want to lift mine a little before I have the money for new tires.

Okay, so mine will look a bit larger. Another question for you, it looks like you have the STX package, am I right? If so, did that not used to include the larger wheels and tires? Or, do you not actually have the STX package? Just curious...
