Cool

Sounds good dude, but I can't get it too dirty when I come up there

Well, I know how to off-road too, but nothin too extreme. Last time I went was with my buds from the board.

Here's Dave

Personally I just like to stick to mud, trails are ok, but please no trees or branches. I really hate scratches.

Most of my pictures are from a place we all call BASS POND, mainly because it used to be a nice long trail with a pond near it that we fished,it's located at 111th and mingo(THE GREENS housing addition), another place we go , we call the dumps, is 51st and 209th, and last Chandler park.....
NOMO is clayton hard or can a truck with 33's make it and still have fun?

Clayton is fun. Tire size isn't as critical as wheelbase. There are a few big "rocks" to crawl over, but it's mostly uphill. We got hung on a burm that is pretty much a snag for any vehicle longer than a jeep (or has less than 35" tires). Scratches are common. You can see for yourself: http://members.visualcities.com/NoMo.../off-road.html

Sam's has a newbie run down there every year- during the Fall, I think.

I'd like to see those spots you're talking about. Maybe all of us can get together sometime.

I didn't know you could go offroading at Chandler Park. I haven't been there in a long time.

Motorcycle Island is someplace off of Keystone Lake for off-roading, but I think only ATV's and dirtbikes are allowed. my ex's friend told me it would be a good place to take my 4 wheeler.

Hey Nomo,
Patrick is going to be up here the weekend of the 26th, if you want to join us and Chris.
oh yeah, i heard one of my friend's at work went to WorldCom, chase him out of there b/c I miss him.

But you all have to do whatever it is you want to do in the morning or early afternoon b/c I'm taking him out for a fancy dinner on saturday night for his b-day.

Count me in guys!! Anytime you wanna go just let me know. I'm always looking for people to go 4-wheelin' with. I usually have to settle for Ch@vy drivers--then I end up pulling them out of some mud hole. :-)

By the way, Motorcycle Island is for ATV's and motorcycle's only. At least last time I was there.

Thumbs up

Pony/Mudder-
I'd like to meet up with y'all on the 26th. Maybe I'll even bring my new truck!

Oh yeah, I "technically" don't work for WCOM any more. I'm a cat-herder now. So, I have to be nice to my "customers". :P

ad4x4ofrd-
I was just talking to a guy at work today about going down there. He bought a J* Cherokee that he wants to try out. Maybe we can get a group going sometime soon. There is a group from Dallas (F150 mailing list members) that go down/up to Clayton Lake every November. Check this out: http://www.samsoffroad.com/Clayton.htm
