Post Bilstein shocks

Hi guys,
I'm interested in installing Bilstein shocks in my truck, I heard that they make the ride alot smoother, I put on larger, more agressive tires and waas wondering if these shocks would counter-act the bumpy ride from the tires. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks, Gino

Just put a set on my F250 4X4 SC Light Duty. Wished I would have installed them on day one. Stiffer but much smoother ride (i.e; less bounce after a large bump/dip in the road but you notice the expansion joints a little more). Don't know about combination with larger tires.

Bought them at www.shox.com. $249 + $20 S&H. During install I used the factory ford bushings though. I thought the Bilstein bushings were inferior. You make the call.

The top Ford factory bushings (combined bushing & nut) threads onto the front and rear Bilsteins but the wrench size is different (same threads though).

The Bilsteins are great shock. I am still wondering if the IAS would have given my beast a little smoother ride? Unless I get the IAS as a gift, I doubt that I will try them out.
