Question raise the front to be level using the torseion bars??

I want to raise the front to be level has any one used the bars to get this and was it still able to be aligned? I know i can raise it a small amount but, don't want to have to pay to re-align for nothing. I think it will have to come up about 2 inches

I did this to my s-10 and the ride was bad and I had to get the truck aligned. What I finally did was put it back to stock and delt with it. I also was told that the most you can do is about an inch or an inch and a half. If that helps you.

You are right i was going to get it alined right away but some aligment shops won't raise the bars due to spec some go by the book on chassis height to do the alignment. I willl give it a try a four wheel alignment is $49 dollars here so maybe next week.

I took my T-Bars up aprox 3/4". Truck sits level now. I had a alignment show do the bars and had an alignment done at the same time. $30 is much easier than spending $600 for new tires prematurely.

Hey Loser,

I just noticed we live in the same area. Where in Corona do you live? Maybe we're neighbors.

Thumbs up

I'm in Sierra Del Oro. The westside of Corona, off Green River. I've been here since 3rd grade, 1978.

Just might have to hook up and talk truck!!! Ever been to Bob's Airport Cafe?

Loser,

I'm in Sierra Del Oro also - right off of Ridgeline. Never been to Bob's, but it might be fun to get together sometime. I've got a '99 Silver Supercab 2wd. Only mods so far are Fabtech coils and side moulding removed. I've got a FantasyRacer.com sticker on the back window. Say "hi" if you see me driving around. If you want to get together, send me an email mike@blueeagle.com.
