Explorer Pro Comp Spindles & lift
I see that Explorer Pro Comp has spindles for the 97+ f150. Anyone know of pricing or quality. I know several people on here have the Bullseye spindles, just trying to explore (no pun intended) all the options. Also I have found body lift kits from performance acc and **** cepek. Any thoughts? I am wanting to lift my standard cab about 4-6 inches but am having to do it a little at a time. It will probably not see too much action off road, so I am thinking of maybe a rough country front leveling kit(about $149) and rear add a leaves and a 3" body lift, but may also consider spindles. My goal is to be able to fit 285/75/16 and still have a little room to spare. Also one last question, will the 285s fit on a lariat 16 x 7 wheel?
thanks in advance

Explorer Pro Comp is the distributor for Bullseye Spindles. Off Road Warehouse (858-565-7792) sells the spindles for $539.95 & you can get a discount if you buy over the internet. Also, if you can find someone closer to you that will match that price, you can save some money on shipping.
Explorer Pro Comp is suppose to come out with a 5" lift for the 2WD F-150. I called them & was told there is no release date yet.
I'm thinking of the same size lift as you are. But I don't really want to go with a body lift & I don't want to replace the front coil springs because I like the way my truck rides now. I called DayStar Products (800-595-7659). They have coil spring spacers for the dodge truck & I was wondering if they had them for the Ford. They said they will be coming out with polyurethane spacers for a 1.5" or 2.5" lift in 4-6 weeks. Hopefully that doesn't turn into 4-6 months. 2 spacers are suppose to cost $86 or less. Add the spindles & you have 4.5"-5.5"s of lift. DayStar recommended to replace the upper A-arms for the 2.5" lift. Truck Performance Center (800-719-8100) sells the Fab Tech A-arm kit for $449. I think this is the route I'm going to take. I have to wait for the snow to melt in my driveway anyway. For the rear I'm thinking of having shackle flip brackets fabricated instead lift blocks.
So I say to myself, "Forget the Explorer Pro Comp 5" lift & make your own!!!!!!"
